The Piggy Song

By Morrisa Sherman

Punchy and Twisty
Ran through the misty
In search of their little lost pig.
Twisty and Punchy
Got hungry for lunchy
So they stopped to pick cherries and figs.
Said Punchy to Twist:
"What pig, would you whist,
Could such ripe, rosy cherries resist?"
Said Twisty to Punch:
"A kingly pig lunch
Indeed! And such figgies to crunch!"
So both did loud entreat:
"Soooweeee! Come and eat!
Such cherries and figgies are these!"
And oinking aloud at the thought of a treat
Trotted Piggie, as pink as you please.
